HB 4th of July 5k

So this was the second official run that I signed Mike up for, since he is LOVING running with me (loving = lovingly appeasing).  I love patriotic events, anything with a theme, and something I can dress up for (see, my obsession with Halloween). 

As you can see, I purchased the Procompression July 4th Special Marathon socks, that matched my blue shorts and white tank.  Again, dress up!

Well, needless to say, the Huntington Beach, Ca #SurfCity5k was super fun, and a great success.  We both had a great time, saw lots of fun, patriotic runners, and enjoyed the rest of the crazy / fun / exciting 4th of July celebration.  We will be signing up again next year, I'm sure!
