Cancun, Mexico. Ole!

Who doesn't need an amazing vacation?  We got back not long ago and I am already packed and ready to go to get back in the sky, off to the next destination!  So back in February Mike and I found this awesome Groupon deal for an all inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico.  I haven't been on a trip (especially international) in forever, so this sounded like the trip we needed, but we had to wait until May. Tick Tock.

We went for 5 days / 4 nights and it was amazing.  Better than we could have imagined.  I mean, the white sandy beaches, the turquoise water, and all the drinks we could enjoy.

 

 

We stayed at the Sandos Cancun Luxury Resort and had an amazing time.  Location was amazing, food, drinks and service were all what we expected and more.  We would recommend this location to anyone looking for a great Cancun vacation.

 





We ventured out one day to market 28, which, was an experience.  It was rows and rows of the same touristy - type trinkets and gifts.  We didn't end up purchasing anything, but it was an "experience".  I can't say I would recommend, unless you are in need of "Cancun" tee shirts, wood carved turtles, and loads of tequila, for "a good price amigo".

All in all, we had an amazing time.  I would definitely go again, but first we will check off other locations on our list.  But before we headed home, we did a layover in Chicago, Illinois.  See the next post for some fun pics, trips, and recommendations there!
